There is nothing that compares to eating a freshly picked vegetable. If you compare a vegetable bought at a good organic health food store to one that you just picked out of your garden from good soil, you will taste a noticeable difference. Once you cut a vegetable, it slowly begins losing its vitality. The vegetable from the store is still good for you, but once you try something directly from a garden, you will taste the energy, the life force. Maybe this is why the farmers market here at Seeds continues to grow in popularity. More and more people are tasting the difference. And we now have a weekly CSA that you can subscribe to. Both the farmers market and the CSA bag include vegetables that were picked the same morning. Everyone here at Seeds hopes that the taste of fresh vegetables will inspire more people to start their own gardens. We will continue to improve the soil so that the produce that grows here will taste even better in the upcoming seasons. Some newly planted crops that you can look forward to include blue Hopi corn, Bantam sweet corn, lettuce, radishes, and carrots.
